Do your prices include VAT?
The Yard is not VAT registered, so no VAT will be added to the prices listed.
What time does The Yard close?
The Yard is open 24/7, but access days and times vary depending on your membership tier.
I’ve booked for a day. How do I know which desk to sit at?

I've completed the FREE trial, how do I buy a pass?
We’re delighted that you’d like to keep working at The Yard. To buy a new pass, simply visit our Membership page, or login to your account and select a new pass.
How do I see the remaining time on my pass?
To see the remaining time left on your pass, simply login to your member portal and you will be able to see the remaining time displayed on the screen.
What do I do if I can't connect to the Wifi?
Please login to your account and check that you have an active pass. If your pass has expired, or you have an outstanding invoice, you may not be able to access the WiFi.
To login to the WiFi, you will need your username (email address) and PIN. You do not need your password to login to the WiFi. For more information, please carefully read the information on the Get Started page.
How do I connect to the printer?
To connect to the Yard Printer, please first make sure you are logged into the WiFi. Then you will be able to add “Brother MFC L8690CDW” to your device in the usual way. You call also print directly using AirPrint compatible devices.
What do I do if the printer ink seems to have run out?
Please let us know by dropping us an email to [email protected], or use the Live Chat on the website.
Is there a limit to how much I can print?
No…but we would ask you to be considerate and use the printer fairly. If we feel that this facility is being abused, we will have to put access restrictions in place.
Where do I find more paper for the printer?
Paper can be found in the cupboard underneath the printer.
Something has run out, or is running low, what should I do?
Items such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, hand towel, and tea & coffee are checked and refilled on a daily basis. If something has run out, please let us know by dropping us an email to [email protected], or use the Live Chat on the website.
I’m the last person to leave, should I close the windows/turn off the lights/lock the door?
If you are the last person to leave in the evening, please do check that the windows are closed, and turn off any lights have been left on. The main door to the building will automatically lock when closed.
Can I get packages delivered to The Yard?
The Yard does not have a receptionist, so you must be at the space to receive your parcel. We encourage members not to sign for packages unless they are their own.
Can I show someone the space?
You are welcome to show your friend the space. However, if they wish to stay and work or use the kitchen or breakout space, we would ask them to register for the free trial.
What do I do if my power sockets are not working?
Please make sure the power switch is turned on. There are individual switches on the desktop sockets, in addition to the power sockets on the wall.
Can I put a notice or ad up on the notice board area?
If the notice or advert is likely to be helpful for your fellow coworkers, then yes please feel free to share on the notice board.
